We had exceptionally good breakfast at the cafe. Booked a room with incredible views of the sea. The location was fab - close enough to lovely beaches, the Castle of May, which is well worth seeing and Dunnet Head, Castle of Mey and Orkney Ferry.
Nothing at all!

The bathroom felt cramped compared to today's standards!!! More attention could be given to room decor!!! Upgrade your coffee and tea options to something more premium next time!!!

The atmosphere here has a laid-back vibe, which makes it a solid spot for a casual getaway. I appreciated the pup-friendly setup-having friendly dogs around adds a unique and cute touch to the experience.
Despite the comfort of the large twin room, it felt a bit overpriced given the lack of special touches. The towels were surprisingly small and amenities like soap and shower gel were limited.

I stayed in the Large Twin Room for one night and loved the sea view! It felt super cozy, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Phil was such a great host. The room was comfortable but didn't have any extra touches, like nice towels or fancy toiletries, a bit surprising given the price.

The location boasts fine sea views. Breakfast was a highlight, with homemade dishes that was great. The bathroom felt cramped and lacked modern amenities, while the room could use some additional decor touches for a cozier vibe. Despite these downsides, the friendly atmosphere and the seal sanctuary on the hotel provided unique charm.
